Hey Kittens!! ;-) Happy Saturday! How has your week been? Mine is going good. I am especially excited because I had my first official consultation with my spirit-guide I mean my Diet/Nutrition/Slavedriver/CarveThisBodyUP Guide. Yes. Dr. Mike Roussell is now my guide for everything I will eat for fuel for my badass training.
It feels damn good to know I'm in the hands of someone so incredibly knowledgeable. And he didn't just write out some random "diet" plan and send to me via email. He took at least an hour to interview me about my likes/dislikes, what training I've BEEN DOING, what my goals are, what my current medical conditions are etc. etc. ONE DIET PLAN won't work for anyone. And certainly I am blessed to be able to consult with Dr. Mike and also Joe Dowdell and Valerie Waters who all know the hormonal imbalance issues I'm dealing with also, which have certainly been a major pain in the ass complicated things the past couple of years.
STILL. It all comes down to this.

We all have to take responsibility for where we are. If we don't have the results we want, WE need to figure out what WE HAVEN'T DONE YET.
And--- remember this. One of the things that really struck me this year-- was that, as I got to hang out with a ton of my FitFluential peeps and the best trainers and doctors/nutritionists on the planet, I noticed one thing. THEY ALL STILL WORK AT IT EVERY DANG DAY.
I used to think to myself I was missing some elusive pill or DNA that the really buff/fit folks had that I didn't. NOPE. Guess what? Carla (MizFitOnline.com) is that RIPPED because she's figured out what "diet" approach works for her 15+ years ago, and she's STUCK WITH IT and she's figured out what workout plan works for her and she DOES IT EVERY DAY. She lifts X times per week and does the cardio that she really doesn't LOVE but she does it.
How many times have I missed my workouts? Quite a lot. Doesn't matter the WHY. You either make time for it or you don't. And if you don't, you cannot complain that you haven't lost another inch.

That's the good thing. It's never too late. It's never too late to get better. To do more. To start NOW.
That's part 2 of my Babble-On-A-Thon from Tuesday. I'm slowly getting caught up. ;-)
