Um. If I had negative energy inside of me, it came out today in my workout and it felt GREAT! My gloves for the Nexersys arrived and I was ready to really get going on this beast:

I have never done any kind of boxing or kickboxing workout where you actually kick or punch SOMETHING. I've done kickboxing classes and boxing but you are punching air. WOW when you punch something IT'S FREAKING AMAZING. I did 7 rounds and the machine told me I need to go up a level. (started at beginner) Even with the gloves, I have skin coming off my knuckles, so I'll likely need to wrap my hands underneath.
IS THIS SHOWING A VIOLENT SIDE OF KELLY? Apparently so. Shouldn't surprise you all since you know my favorite show is Alias and my favorite movies always involve Jason Bourne or some kind of explosives and fight scenes. Hmmm.
I then finished up with a shoulder circuit blast. It's time to hit the weights hard people. HARD! I'm ready for some serious muscle building. Tomorrow will be back and biceps.
And very soon, I'll be reunited with my favorite trainer in the WORLD Jay Dever. God Bless Life Time Fitness where he and I met a few years ago. Check this:
And, I made sure to stretch. You know a big focus of mine is balance in my work life and in my fitness plan. I've tended to be too much running/cardio the past couple of months and not PLANNING my workouts. I need 1) plans 2) weights 3) adding back in yoga 4) making sure to stretch. And part of balancing my workouts-- as you all know-- has been getting weekly massages. Sure, it can be heavenly but really, when you pushing it in the gym and spending a ton of time at your computer hunched over a keyboard, getting those muscles worked --- it's needed.
Quite often I get my massage and I swear they are pulling my muscles out of me or it feels that way but it is NEEDED to loosen up those muscles-- it prepares me for future work in the gym. And mentally of course, Kelly is just a happier person.
I was fortunate enough to be asked then to test out a new service (I love my life) from ZEEL.com.
Yea. One look and you'll know why I said HECK YES.

Users can find massage therapists in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Outside of Chicago, they can browse for massage therapists nationwide, including specialists in sports massage and mobile massage therapy.
In the past I've been going to a salon locally and have been very pleased. I get hot stone massage a lot and I really need DEEP TISSUE. I have major neck/upper traps/back issues. So I cannot lie. I was a WEE bit skeptical about just randomly picking a massage therapist, even one with reviews. But you get to see a picture, their specialty and so on. I FOUND A DREAMY DREAMY holistic body-worker woman! And how cool is it that you can find chiropractors, accupuncturists, personal trainers, dietitians and more? I think more and more folks are into these more natural/holistic if you will approaches. I LOVE The idea of ZEEL oh and did I mention so they get you lower prices too? HELLO??
If you are going to take advantage of ZEEL, oh yea, you can use my link CLICKING HERE to get $25.00 OFF YOUR FIRST SERVICE yaya! (I do not earn a commission for this)
(Disclosure, I was given a credit to test out the Zeel service. I did not pay for my massage service but I did pay for the tip and the opinions of the service are my own.)
Now. Here is my ramble-on-a-thon from yesterday:
NOW. I need to go ice my knuckles. Not even joking. I am so badass. ;-)
